In response to the daunting unemployment rate facing South Africa’s school leavers, Love Howick’s EduProject Team has embraced the wise words of Peter Drucker: ‘The best way to predict the future is to create it.’ Understanding that not all students will smoothly transition into conventional employment, we’ve initiated a proactive approach—cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset and equipping young students with essential business skills.

Throughout the year, our team has been actively involved in four public schools in Mpophomeni, guiding Grade 4-7 students through the fundamentals of business startups. This initiative culminated in the eagerly awaited Kidpreneur Market Day, where students put their newly acquired skills to the test.
The market day was a resounding success, with parents, teachers, and fellow students engaging in a vibrant ‘shopping’ experience at various student-run stalls. This program has quickly become a cherished addition to the school curriculum, demonstrating the value of practical business education in fostering future-ready leaders.
Join us in celebrating these young entrepreneurs who are learning to shape their own futures, today.
